Apex Dental Lab of Madison accepts digital files from most major intraoral scanners. Sending your digital file to our lab will depend on the scanner your practice uses. Check through our list of protocols below to see how you can digitally connect to our lab and get your impression to our team.

  • Sign up for DS core account
    • Visit Dscore.com
    • Enter valid email address & password of your choosing
    • Log in to DS Core
    • Complete set up to account
  • Sign in to DS Core
  • Navigate to user profile menu in the top corner (circle with your initials) and open menu
  • Select Practice
  • Open preferred labs
  • Select the blue button "all preferred labs" for all labs in DSCore
  • Search our lab in the bar or scroll to find Apex Granite City using the lab email [email protected].
  • Select "add lab"
  • A pop-up window will ask you to confirm lab, ensure information is correct and once again select "add lab"
  • Navigate to arrow in the top left corner to navigate back to your preferred labs list, you should now see our lab listed with a status of "active"
Option 1:
  1. Select “Find a Laboratory” on your iTero Scanner or use lab locator at www.itero.com.
  2. Connect with Apex Dental Lab of Madison by searching for our iTero ID number: 123789
  3. After connecting to us as a Lab, select Apex Dental Lab of Madison on your scanner when sending files.
Option 2:
  1. Call 800-577-8767 and select option 2
  2. Request that Apex Dental Lab of Madison is added to your scanner using our iTero ID number: 123789.
  3. After Apex Dental Lab of Madison has been added, restart your scanner.
  4. After connecting to us as a lab, select Apex Dental Lab of Madison on your scanner when sending files.
Option 1:
  1. Select "Find a Laboratory" on your iTero Scanner or use lab locator at www.itero.com.
  2. Connect with Apex Dental Lab of Madison by searching for our phone number: (608) 284-9611
  3. After connecting to us as a Lab, select Apex Dental Lab of Madison on your scanner when sending files.
Option 2:
  1. Call 800-577-8767 and select option 2
  2. Request that Apex Dental Lab of Madison is added to your scanner using our phone number: (608) 284-9611.
  3. After Apex Dental Lab of Madison has been added, restart your scanner.
  4. After connecting to us as a lab, select Apex Dental Lab of Madison on your scanner when sending files.
  1. Log in to the 3Shape Communicate Portal
  2. Search for "[email protected]" to find our lab and connect.
  3. Select Apex Dental Lab of Madison whenever sending files.
  1. Login to Dexis IS Connect.
  2. Practice users need to enter their Username/Email associated with their practice.
  3. Click on "Quick Connect" located in the top right corner.
  4. Select "Add A Partner."
  5. Enter the lab's email address "[email protected]" and click on "Send."
  6. Please call the lab to confirm acceptance.
  1. Export .STL, .PLY, or .OBJ files from scanner.
  2. Email files to the following email address: [email protected].
  1. Select the "find a lab" option on your scanner
  2. Search for "Apex Dental Lab of Madison" and add us as your laboratory
  3. Select Apex Dental Lab of Madison when submitting scans
  1. Open your Shining scanner software
  2. Search for our lab using either:
  3. Select our lab to complete the connection
  • Sign up for DS core account

  • Sign in to DS Core
  • Navigate to user profile menu in the top corner (circle with your initials) and open menu
  • Select Practice
  • Open preferred labs
  • Select the blue button "all preferred labs" for all labs in DSCore
  • Search our lab in the bar or scroll to find Apex Granite City using the lab email [email protected].
  • Select "add lab"
  • A pop-up window will ask you to confirm lab, ensure information is correct and once again select "add lab"
  • Navigate to arrow in the top left corner to navigate back to your preferred labs list, you should now see our lab listed with a status of "active"
  1. During your scan, make sure to fill out the appropriate RX information for the case.
  2. Verify your scans are accurate, complete, and include all necessary anatomy.
  3. Once your scan is processed, click "Cloud Output."
  4. From the dropdown menu, select your preferred lab.
  5. Click "Send" to upload and transmit your case.
