Digital Files
ProSmiles Apex Dental Studio accepts digital files from most major intraoral scanners. Sending your digital file to our lab will depend on the scanner your practice uses. Check through our list of protocols below to see how you can digitally connect to our lab and get your impression to our team.
Select your IOS
Dentsply Sirona CEREC®
- Create or login to your CERECĀ® Connect account
- Select "MY CEREC CONNECT"
- Search for [email protected].
- Select ADD to complete registration
- Whenever submitting your case via CERECĀ®, select ProSmiles Apex Dental Studio from your list
iTero®
- Select "Find a Laboratory" on your iTero Scanner or use lab locator at www.itero.com.
- Connect with ProSmiles Rapid City by searching for our iTero ID number 16926.
- After connecting to us as a Lab, select Apex Granite City on your scanner when sending files.
- Call 800-577-8767 and select option 2
- Request that ProSmiles Apex Dental Studio is added to your scanner.
- After ProSmiles Apex Dental Studio has been added, restart your scanner.
- After connecting to us as a lab, select ProSmiles Apex Dental Studio on your scanner when sending files.
iTero® Lumina
- Select "Find a Laboratory" on your iTero Scanner or use lab locator at www.itero.com.
- Connect with ProSmiles Rapid City by searching for our iTero ID number 16926.
- After connecting to us as a Lab, select Apex Granite City on your scanner when sending files.
- Call 800-577-8767 and select option 2
- Request that ProSmiles Apex Dental Studio is added to your scanner.
- After ProSmiles Apex Dental Studio has been added, restart your scanner.
- After connecting to us as a lab, select ProSmiles Apex Dental Studio on your scanner when sending files.
3Shape TRIOS®
- Log in to the 3Shape Communicate Portal
- Search for "[email protected]" to find our lab and connect.
- Select ProSmiles Apex Dental Studio whenever sending files.
TRIOS Connect
- Log in to the 3Shape Communicate Portal
- Search for "[email protected]" to find our lab and connect.
- Select ProSmiles Apex Dental Studio whenever sending files.
Carestream™ / Dexis™
- Login to Dexis IS Connect.
- Practice users need to enter their Username/Email associated with their practice.
- Click on "Quick Connect" located in the top right corner.
- Select "Add A Partner."
- Enter the lab's email address "[email protected]" and click on "Send."
- Please call the lab to confirm acceptance.
Medit
To connect with a lab on Medit, go to the Medit Link website (meditlink.com), log into your account, click the "Partners" tab on the left, search for the lab by email- [email protected] and send a partnership request; once they accept, the connection is made and you can send cases directly through the Medit Link program.
Shining 3D
- Open your Shining scanner software
- Search for our lab by Lab Name: ProSmiles Rapid City.
- Select our lab to complete the connection
DS Core
- Sign up for DS core account
- Visit Dscore.com
- Enter valid email address & password of your choosing
- Log in to DS Core
- Complete set up to account
- Sign in to DS Core
- Navigate to user profile menu in the top corner (circle with your initials) and open menu
- Select Practice
- Open preferred labs
- Select the blue button "all preferred labs" for all labs in DSCore
- Search our lab in the bar or scroll to find Apex Granite City using the lab email [email protected].
- Select "add lab"
- A pop-up window will ask you to confirm lab, ensure information is correct and once again select "add lab"
- Navigate to arrow in the top left corner to navigate back to your preferred labs list, you should now see our lab listed with a status of "active"
Heron (3Disc)
Please go to create connection and type in ProSmiles Rapid City. After the connection is sent please call the lab to confirm the acceptance.
Ori 3
- During your scan, make sure to fill out the appropriate RX information for the case.
- Verify your scans are accurate, complete, and include all necessary anatomy.
- Once your scan is processed, click "Cloud Output."
- From the dropdown menu, select your preferred lab.
- Click "Send" to upload and transmit your case.
